Turkey Chili
Ingredients:
- 1 kg ground turkey
- ½ red onion
- 3 cloves garlic
- 1 tsp ground cumin
- 1 tsp Paprika
- 1 tsp Cayenne Pepper
- 1 tsp Garlic powder
- 1 tsp onion powder
- 1 tsp oregano
- c / n Salt
- c / n Pepper
- ¼ cup of sweet paprika
- ½ cup black beans
- ½ cup Charro beans
- 1 can whole tomatoes, peeled
- 2 tbsp tomato paste
- ½ cup yellow corn
- 1 pc Green pepper
- c / n Olive oil
Process:
- Heat the oil in a medium saucepan over medium heat.
- Add onions, bell pepper, garlic and cook until tender, 5-7 minutes.
- Add tomato paste, sweet paprika, spices and ground turkey. Cook separating the meat with a spoon, until browned, about 5 minutes.
- Add the black beans, bay beans, tomatoes, corn; bring to a boil.
- Reduce heat and simmer until thick and chili flavor is achieved, about 10 minutes. Season with salt and pepper.
- It can be served over turkey hotdogs and garnished with cheddar cheese, cilantro, jalapeños.
