Chicken strips in batter

Ingredients:
- 800 gr chicken breast in strips
- 2 pcs of egg
- 350 ml of beer or VERY COLD mineral water
- 1 to 2 cups of wheat flour
- 1 tsp baking powder
- 1 tbsp Garlic powder
- 1 lt Vegetable oil for frying
- Salt and pepper to taste
Process:
For the batter:
- In a bowl place the 2 pieces of egg and add the baking powder and flour little by little until you get a very dense and thick paste. Add the beer or very cold mineral water until you get a pan-type dough. Season with the garlic powder, salt and pepper.
- In a pot, place 1 liter of oil and heat to 175ºC.
To coat the chicken strips
- Pass the chicken strips in flour and then in the dough.
- Fry in the oil for about 6 minutes. Remove and let rest on absorbent paper to remove excess oil.
